LIBRO is a custom-designed bookshelf for our 'Abstract Barnes' extension project in Barnes, London.

The library has been constructed to establish a porous boundary between the dining room and the reading/lounge area, both overlooking the back garden. The concept was both to materialize the intricate compositional architectural language of the house, and also to offer an exciting and unexpected dialogue between the adjacent living space through solids and voids of different sizes that accommodate multiple books and design objects.
