From the Architect:
A pavilion especiale x Ecole speciale d’architecture = a pavilion for 675 students. Education is having students free but at the same time that they perform as a school, birds represent freedom, and they sometimes perform like “swarm” behaviour. Let’s imagine a pavilion of 675 birds, performing like a swarm, but first, let’s plant a tree. the green idea is that exhibitions, lectures, meetings, events, they all happen around the presence of a tree . . .(not to forget the green agenda we are all in, against global warming). Each student will design a bird, a personal design total 675 students, 675 birds.
